"The Plum Boys are THE BEST NEW RETRO-POP BAND IN DFW."
Our story begins in 2020 when the band's co-founders met while attending their sophomore year in high school at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and singing for the world-renowned Texas Boys Choir. During their sophomore year of high school with the pandemic raging, the boys decided to form a Retro-Pop band and write and produce an album.
"We all have a unique set of artistic talent, so we decided to start a pop band and write music for ourselves as a creative way for us to express ourselves musically and artistically during the pandemic"
To fund the band's first record, they started a GoFundme page and raised nearly $3000 towards producing their 1st album entitled 'SHE'
The album secured them a distribution deal through Smith Music out of Fort Worth, Texas, and attracted the eyes of TRND MUSIC, the band's current management team.
The Plum Boys recently opened for the 80’s new wave group ‘A Flock of Seagulls’ and are currently the highest streaming artist on the city of Fort Worth’s streaming artist platform service Amplify817 and they continue to perform locally and regionally while working on building their fan base.
